Forbidden Fruit Important Information

  • • Forbidden Fruit Festival is an over 18’s event.

    • Driving Licence / Passport / Garda Card are acceptable forms of identification

    • Anyone who appears U18yrs may be asked for ID to enter the festival

    • We operate the “Challenge 25” policy at our bars on site. This means that anyone who looks 25 years or under can expect to be asked for ID. Please drink responsibly

    Note: Admission is strictly by full ticket only. Please have your ticket available for inspection at main entrance to the venue. Tickets must be retained for duration of event.

  • • Entrance will be only allowed to persons of age 18 or over.

    • Entry to the event is only possible with a valid admission ticket for both daily and weekend ticket holders. Your ticket will be scanned once upon arrival, each day of the festival.

    • Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

    • Proof of age may be required for all ticket types. Please ensure that you have ID with you in case you are asked.

    • There is no re-admission. Day tickets are valid to be scanned once upon arrival for the allocated day you purchased.

    • Weekend tickets are valid to be scanned once upon arrival & each day you attend the festival.

    • Searches are in operation on the entry to the event.

    • No re-entry

  • Weekend Tickets:

    Entry to the event for a weekend ticket holder is only possible with a valid weekend ticket.

    Your ticket will be scanned once upon arrival each day of the festival.

    Re-entry is not permitted on the same day.

    Tickets should be kept during the entire festival to enter the festival premises freely.

    Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

    Proof of age may be required for all ticket types. Please ensure that you have ID with you in case you are asked.

    Single Day Tickets:

    Entry to the event is only possible with a valid admission ticket for daily ticket holders.

    There is no re-admission on day tickets.

    MOBILITY IMPAIRED ACCESS

    Vehicles with a mobility impaired badge will be permitted to approach the concerts from James Street and Bow Lane where they will be directed via Military Road to the East Gate and from there to the Mobility Impaired Car Park.

    Display of mobility impaired parking sticker in a visible position is necessary.

    Note: After the show, vehicles will be held until vehicle curfew is tipped (approximately 30 minutes).

    BY CAR

    There is no parking at the venue. Traffic Restrictions will be in place on Military Road and Kilmainham Lane. The nearest public car park is Park Rite Parking Lot at 7 Queen Street, Dublin 7

    Taxies should come from James Street and Bow Lane. Military Road from Heuston Station will be closed for traffic.

    After the event, taxi ranks will pick up outside Heuston Station and Kilmainham Gaol.

  • Getting There: Vehicles with a mobility impaired badge will be permitted to approach the concerts via Military Road or Bow Lane where they will be directed to the East Gate and from there to the Mobility Impaired Car Park. No special ticket is required.

    Facilities: Accessible Sanitary facilities will be provided as well as mobility impaired seating platform at the main stage.

  • DO'S:

    • Dress appropriately for the weather. The festival takes place outdoors on the grounds (grass lawns) of Royal Hospital Kilmainham. No Large Umbrellas, (Pocket size is fine)

    • Bar and catering facilities are available; we operate the “Challenge 25” policy at our bars on site. This means that anyone who looks 25 years or under can expect to be asked for ID. Please drink responsibly.

    • Please be respectful of the grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham and the locality of Kilmainham which is a residential area.

    • Consider our good neighbour policy and leave the venue quietly

    • Bring your credit or debit card. This is a cashless event.

    DON’TS:

    • No liquids

    • No illegal drugs

    • No fireworks

    • No drones

    • No professional recording equipment

    • No pets

    • No smoking in enclosed spaces

    • No parking at the venue

    • No re-entry on the same day

    WARNING! Urinating inside and outside the event premises is Public Order Offence. Person's seen urinating in public will be permanently removed from festival grounds without warning and will be prosecuted. Please use the toilets provided.

  • A First Aid Tent / Ambulance Vehicle will be situated at the event.

    Note that alcohol should be consumed in moderation.

  • Lost property will be held in the info tent in the festival arena. For the information of lost property on site please go to the member of security for assistance. Mail Podlostproperty@gmail.com for lost property day after show.

    Unclaimed Lost property will be handed to Garda Siochana at the end of the event. However, we are not liable for any stolen or lost items.

  • • Overexposure to loud and excessive music may be damaging to your hearing.

    • Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting/special effects may take place during some performances.

  • 1. By purchasing or accepting a ticket to Forbidden Fruit Festival, you are accepting the following terms & conditions.

    2. Right of admission reserved.

    3. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. You risk ejection from the event without a refund.

    4. By attending Forbidden Fruit Festival, you are entering an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By agreeing to these terms, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Forbidden Fruit Festival and Pod Festivals LTD.

    5. Unauthorised professional photography or use of professional recording equipment is prohibited and zoom lenses, audio visual or cinematographic devices will not be permitted on site.

    6. You are not permitted to bring any liquids or alcohol to the festival. Liquids and alcohol will be confiscated.

    7. You may be searched upon entry to the festival. If you are in possession of illegal substances you may be arrested. Anyone found carrying illicit items will have them confiscated and may be removed from the festival and passed over to the Garda as a result.

    8. No large bags will be permitted to the concert site. Bags A4 size & smaller will be subject to security checks on entry. Those with no bags will be fast tracked into the arena

    9. The following items are not permitted at Forbidden Fruit Festival.

    • Fireworks, Chinese Lanterns, flares and high power torches are not allowed.

    • Liquids

    • Alcohol

    • Illicit drugs, legal highs or nitrous oxide are not allowed.

    • Glass (except for small make-up items and perfume/aftershave)

    • Animals (except guide dogs) are not allowed.

    • Anything which could be considered an offensive weapon is not allowed.

    • Gas Cylinders are not permitted.

    • Petrol Generators or Liquefied Petroleum Gas is not allowed.

    • BBQ’s are not allowed.

    • Laser Pens are not allowed.

    • Professional photographic equipment is not allowed. (this applies to cameras that have detachable lenses)

    • Selfie Sticks are not allowed.

    • Drones are not allowed.

    • Large umbrellas are not allowed.

    • Spray canisters / Smoke Bombs / Gas canisters are not allowed.

    • Megaphones are not allowed.

    • High Vis Clothing is not allowed

    • No chairs

    10. No trading allowed onsite without the Promoters prior consent.

    11. No unauthorised vehicles will be allowed on site.

    12. Artists and billed attractions may be subject to change. The Promoters are not liable for the payment of any compensation or loss of money and/or expenses incurred.

    13. Your safety is of utmost important to us. On rare occasions we may have to close arenas and/or stages. The reason for any closure or restriction may include technical or operational reasons, inclement weather, capacity, or to ensure the safety and security of guests.

    14. Forbidden Fruit Festival & Pod Festivals LTD accept no responsibility for any loss and/or damage suffered by you as a result of any event outside of our control. Any personal property brought to the event is at your own risk.

    15. Strobe lighting and lasers may be used at the festival on the stages.

    16. Prolonged exposure to loud music may cause damage to your hearing.

    17. Fires are not permitted anywhere onsite. Those involved with starting a fire or throwing anything onto the fire will be removed from site and not refunded.

    18. Please be aware that the event is outdoors. We have no control over the weather, so you are strongly advised to bring appropriate clothing and footwear to the festival.
